Epson inkjet multifunction printers
help to achieve
a zero-waste society
by consuming fewer
resources!
[SOLUTION]
Inkjet printers utilize a simple printing process and, unlike laser printers, have few parts that require regular replacement, like photoreceptors and fusing units. A3-size multifunction office printers are used to print relatively large volumes compared to home printers, so laser models require regular replacement of parts* such as photoreceptors. Inkjet multifunction printers have few parts that require replacement and thus help to reduce the environmental impact by consuming fewer resources.
*Parts replaced according to the printing volume.
Depending on printing volume,
parts are not replaced in some cases.
*Consumables and periodic replacement parts
required to print 1 million pages.
The weight includes all post-use consumables,
periodic replacement parts, and their packaging.
The test print pattern is ISO24712,
with 10,000 pages printed per day.
