Epson inkjet multifunction printers
consume little power.
[PROBLEM]
We all want to keep the power consumed
by office equipment to a minimum.
[SOLUTION]
Epson's unique inkjet technology does not utilize heat or pressure in the printing process, allowing significant reductions in power consumption compared to laser printers. Reduced power consumption means that
CO2 emissions can be lowered as well, so switching from a laser printer to an inkjet printer can also lead to a reduced impact on the environment.
*The device is tested in default mode, according to the standard energy consumption test method from Buyers Lab. Weekday power consumption = 2 x 4 hours of workload evaluation pattern as defined by the Buyers Lab's power consumption test +16 hours sleep mode. Weekend power consumption = 48 hours sleep mode.
The Buyers Lab's workload evaluation pattern (sent six times every four hours) consists of .doc, .xls, .ppt, .html,
and Outlook files totaling 69 pages. The total annual power consumption is calculated based on the amount of power
used on normal working days, as well as the amount of power used while in night and weekend sleep modes.
This data is based on the evaluation results from Keypoint Intelligence-Buyers Laboratory who were commissioned by Epson.
Power consumption and TEC values vary depending on the model. For details, please check our website or catalogs.
