Original Peel-off Memo Pad
Try making one of these colorful memo pads using your choice of design paper patterns. They peel off neatly. These memo pads are useful when you want to write something down or leave a message for someone. Using paper such as fliers or unneeded prints as backing paper is also a nice, eco-friendly idea.
You will need...
Materials:
- Design paper printed on A4 size paper: 5 to 8 sheets (all the same pattern or different patterns, according to your preference)
- Postcard: 1
Tools
- Clip: 2
- Wood glue
- Double-sided tape or glue
- Ruler
- Cutter
- Cutting mat
- Masking tape (of your choice)
How to
- Stack the design paper, and then cut the design paper in half horizontally and in half vertically to quarter the sheets into equally-sized pieces.
|

- Stack the sheets, align one of the short sides neatly, and clip the sides together.
|

- Thinly apply wood glue to the short side that was neatly aligned. Once it has dried, apply wood glue again. Apply 2 to 3 layers in the same way for a sturdy finish.
|

- Attach a postcard to the back of the very bottom sheet using double-sided tape or glue. When attaching the postcard, align the edge of the postcard with the short side of the stack of paper that the glue was applied to.
|

- Use a cutter to trim the design paper to the same size as the postcard. Rather than trying to cut it all at once, cut it carefully in several batches to cut it cleanly.
Be careful not to hurt yourself while cutting since the stack of paper is thick.
|

- Finished! When you use the memo pad, each piece of paper peels off neatly!
Apply masking tape to the glued part for a cuter finish.
