Case 1. Connecting using a dynamic IPv4 address (auto), default setting of the printer
Connect your printer with an Ethernet cable. See the Setup Guide
for the printer for details.
Set up the app on your smart device.
Case2. Connecting using a static IPv4 address
Follow the steps below to set up the IP address of the printer.
Then connect an Ethernet cable.
Display the Network Menu
.
Press the button on the printer's control panel.
For multi-function printers, press the Setting
button.
Select Common Settings
and then select Network Menu
.
Confirm that Network I/F
On
.
If not On
:
Press the OK
button to proceed.
Select On
by pressing the and
buttons, and then pressing
OK
.
Set Get IP Address
to Panel
.
Select Get IP Address
=xxxx
by pressing the and
buttons.
If the xxxx
is already set to Panel
, go to .
Press OK
to proceed.
Select Panel
by pressing the and
buttons, and then pressing
OK
.
Set the IP
(IP address), SM
(subnet mask), and GW
(gateway address).
Select IP
by pressing the and
buttons, and then pressing
OK
.
Set the IP address (0-255) by pressing the and
buttons to select numbers, and pressing the
and
buttons to set the position of the cursor.
Repeat until the entire IP address is set, then press
OK
.
Do through

and GW

Be sure that Bonjour
is set to On
.
If Bonjour
is set to Off
:
Select Bonjour
by pressing the and
buttons, and then pressing
OK
.
Select On
by pressing the and
buttons, and then pressing
OK
.
Turn the printer off and then on again.
Connect the printer with an Ethernet cable. See the Setup Guide
for the printer for details.
Set up the app on your smart device.
You cannot setup other settings such as IPv6, DNS server or SNMP, on the control panel. Use EpsonNet Config
for other settings.
