Connecting the printer and the smart device directly (Wi-Fi Direct)



1  Select Wi-Fi Setup on the home screen, and then press the OK button.

2  Select Wi-Fi Direct, and then press the OK button.

3  Press the OK button.

4  Press the OK button.

5  Press the OK button.

6  Check the SSID and password displayed on the printer’s control panel. Select the SSID shown on the printer’s control panel from the Wi-Fi screen on the smart device.

7  Enter the password displayed on the printer’s control panel.

8  After the connection is established, press the OK button on the printer’s control panel.

9  Press the OK button.

Tips

  • When a message is displayed such as "no more smart devices can be connected" on the printer's screen

The maximum number of devices that can connect to the printer simultaneously has been exceeded. Disconnect one of the connected Wi-Fi devices.
