Make sure the printer is on and there are no messages on the control panel indicating that the printer is performing operations such as charging ink.

Select Wi-Fi Direct, and then press the OK button.

Check the SSID and password displayed on the printer’s control panel. Select the SSID shown on the printer’s control panel from the Wi-Fi screen on the smart device.

Enter the password displayed on the printer’s control panel.

After the connection is established, scroll the printer’s control panel and select Dismiss, and then press the OK button.
