Setup automatically by using a push button



1  Press to select on the home screen, and then press the OK button.

2  Select Wi-Fi (Recommended), and then press the OK button.

3  Press the OK button.

4  Select Push Button Setup (WPS), and then press the OK button.

5  Hold down the [WPS] button on the wireless router until the security light flashes.

If you do not know where the [WPS] button is, or there are no buttons on the wireless router, see the documentation provided with your wireless router for details.

6  Press the OK button on the printer’s control panel.

7  Press the OK button.

The screen automatically proceeds after a specific length of time if you do not press the OK button.

Check the following items, and then perform network setup again.
Check that the wireless router is turned on. If it is turned on, turn the wireless router’s power off and on again. Consider other users who may be using the network.
Disable the privacy separator on the wireless router.
Place your printer close to the wireless router.
Check that the wireless router supports WPS. If it does not support WPS, you cannot establish a network using Push Button Setup (WPS).
If the MAC address filtering function is enabled, register your printer’s MAC address to prevent your printer from being filtered. See the documentation provided with the wireless router for registering.
