minne Handmade Market 2019 Exhibit

"minne Handmade Market 2019" was held for two days on March 30th and 31st, 2019, at the Saitama Super Arena in Japan. About 1,000 creators of handmade products in various fields gathered together from all over Japan, with about 1,700 booths and over 150,000 items on display and for sale. The event attracted over 32,000 visitors.
Epson also set up a booth at this event, displaying wrapping, shop cards, and other items created using our printers. We also gave out presents of design paper to people that completed our survey.
The end result was very popular, so we'd like to share a little about it.

Although the booth was a bit small, our staff did a great job creating some handmade garlands and other items from design paper to create an atmosphere that was bright and fun.

We displayed samples of valuable wrapping ideas made by minne creators with the plans from the "minne and manufacturing" minne article.

As expected, the work of these popular creators was wonderful!

10 types of samples of wrapping and shop card ideas made using Epson printers were on display.

We conducted a visitor survey and popularity poll regarding the samples, and offered visitors a smorgasbord of design paper for them to take their favorites as a present.

As soon as the market opened, we received a flood of visitors!

In the end, we received nearly 5,000 visitors and gave out over 1,000 sheets of design paper over the course of the two-day event.

We are pleased to say that after our pre-prepared lot of design paper ran out, our printers couldn't keep up with the demand!

Of the 10 types of samples, "Green & Botanical" was selected for first place in our popularity poll.
