Request for Usage Information

Thank you for choosing this Epson product. We are asking for your assistance with our global research program, which will collect information on your product so that we can improve our future products and services.

Usage information collection

Epson will not collect product information unless you give your permission.

If you agree to participate in this research, Epson will collect your usage information via the following methods:

An application installed on your computer will collect and send usage information.

Your product will collect and send usage information.

A communication charge may apply depending on your network environment.

From software From product
Follow one of these procedures to give your permission: On the software installation screen, make sure the [Allow software usage information to be collected] and [Allow product usage information to be collected] options are selected, then click [Next].

If you do not wish to participate, deselect these options.
Select [Approve] from the Customer Research screen on the printer's control panel.

If you do not wish to participate, select [Reject].
Information collection method An application will be installed on your computer, and it will periodically send usage information to Epson via the internet. Your product will periodically send the usage information to Epson via the internet.
Information collection details Epson collects the following information:
Product serial number
Consumables usage
Replacement parts usage
Number of pages printed, number of pages scanned (if applicable), paper type, paper size, and print density
Computer OS version and region -
Follow one of these procedures to end your participation: Uninstall the application.
Windows
Windows 10,11: Select the Settings icon > Apps > Apps & features. Then select [Epson Data Collection Agent] and uninstall.
Windows 8.x: Navigate to the Apps screen and select Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features. Then select [Epson Data Collection Agent] and uninstall.
Windows (other versions): Click Start, and select Control Panel > “Uninstall a program” or “Add or Remove Programs” Then select [Epson Data Collection Agent] and uninstall.
Mac
Select Go > Applications > Epson Software > Uninstaller. Then select [Epson Data Collection Agent] and [Uninstall].
Select [Reject] from the Customer Research screen on the printer's control panel.
