Handmade Chopstick Wrapper for Omotenashi

A "Chopstick wrapper" allows you to decorate your table at celebrations and when hosting guests. Do you have any idea how easy they are to make?
It's so easy that you can make them in your spare time and save them for any occasion.
A wide variety of patterns of design paper allows you to make them for any event. Give it a try!

You will need...

Materials:

< For two pairs of chopsticks >
  • One sheet of A4 size design paper
  • Two pairs of disposable chopsticks

Tools

  • Scissors or any other cutting instrument

Before you start

  • Make sure you have your design paper ready.
  • Don’t forget, you can print design paper using the smartphone app "Epson Creative Print".

How to

1 Cut the design paper in half.
(Each piece is for a pair of chopsticks)
2 Place the design paper vertically with the printed side facing down, fold it vertically into thirds making creases, and then unfold.
3 Cut off the top right and top left edges.
4 Fold the left side to meet the crease, fold the right side to meet the left edge, flip it over, and then fold the bottom up about 3 cm.

5 Just slip a pair of chopsticks into each wrapper!
