Make a Halloween treat bag using a commercially available paper bag with a piece of string!
The cover is just like a monster's mouth munching on monster treats!
1 | Detach the piece of string from the paper bag. You can cut the upper part of the bag if you want a smaller one. Fold the opening inside to make it thicker. (If it's already thick enough, you can skip this step.) |
2 | Cut the design paper to adjust the width of the bag. Apply glue to the top and fold and stick it so that the front cover is thicker. Make creases along the red lines on the image for the base. Make it as wide as you like. Apply glue as indicated on the image and stick it to the bag. |
3 | Attach some decorations cut out from design paper or some stickers to the front cover. |
4 | Attach a paper clip at the back of the front cover with scotch tape and a magnet to the bag with double-sided tape. Make sure you adjust them so that they fit each other when closing the front cover. |
5 | Make a hole on one side of the bag with scissors. Pass a string and tie a relatively big knot so that it won't come out. |
6 | Do the same for the other side, and your bag is ready to be filled with treats! |
Decorate your bag with a skeleton or a black cat to make it nice and spooky!
Grab your bag and go out trick or treating!
