The research will collect information on your printing behaviour by installing a small application on your computer. This will allow us to better understand how our customers use their printer so that we can improve our future products and services. Please note this data will be used for market research purposes only and will not be used by Epson or Third Parties to contact you.

The following data will periodically be sent via the Internet to Epson in Japan:

• Printer type, model and serial number
• Ink usage, ink remaining amount, ink cartridge status, number and type of inkjet cartridges consumed.
• Number of pages printed, paper feed source, number of CDs printed, first printing date, number of pages fed through Automatic Document Feeder.
• Printer maintenance, number of print head cleaning operations, printer and scanner error codes.
• Operating System version, language and country.

Uninstalling the Epson customer research participation program

[Windows]

To remove the software, uninstall the “Epson Customer Research Participation” program using the Windows control panel.

[Mac]

To remove the software, run the Epson “Uninstaller” utility and select “Epson Customer Research Participation”. If you do not have the “Uninstaller” utility, you can obtain it using the “EPSON Software Updater” utility or from the Epson support website.

Your data will be made anonymous where possible. Epson will abide by all data protection laws worldwide.
